Selected personal projects
Here is a small selection of works that in different ways touch the core of my visual philosophy: meaning, challenge, beauty and humour.
Alan Watts has long been a beacon for me in philosophy. With warmth, humour and sharp insight, he made Eastern philosophy accessible to a Western audience in the 1950s and 60s. This illustration was adopted in 2020 by the Alan Watts Organization, founded by his son, for products sold through the organization’s online store.

This book cover was developed on my own initiative as a tribute to Aldous Huxley’s classic novel. The story raises questions that still feel relevant in our own time, and the project springs from a desire to give visual form to stories that challenge established ways of thinking.
Dostoevsky is said to have said that «beauty will save the world». Whether the quote is authentic or not, it expresses a thought I have always been concerned with. I often try to seek out the beautiful, whether it is found in people, architecture, nature or ideas.
